Thom Hell sang in the distance as we tried to find our camp. So did Ingrid Olava,
playing background vocals to the rain that seemed to have it in for my cool pointy blue suede shoes.
Air played at the same time as Therese Aune and the sound-collage was quite terrifying. Pity for
Therese Aune who seemed to have a good time in our little tent at Camp Indie.
Iggy And The Stooges gave us our first really cool show. Inviting people up on stage with him,
talking about how he had no rights as a young man in America and yelling;
“Yes I have a dick, and I wanna use it!”
With that said I have to say this as well; Man the guy has grown old. The coolest old cat on stage
by far yes, but; oh my! I hope I look like that when I’m a hundred-and-sixty as well…

M.I.A told us that the night was over and we went home.
Tomorrow it’s Kråkesølv, Jonsi and The Cumshots. And in the distance;
Motorpsycho performing Timmothys Monster. It’s gonna be a weary, fun, entertaining festival.

PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Bjørk og Hanne Hukkelberg er inspirasjonskilder man kan kjenne igjen i Your Headlights Are On, men nok om det.

Your Headlights Are On består av den dønnærlige Ingrid Helene Håvik på vokal, Heida Karine Johannesdottir på tuba, Anja Lauvdal på wurlitzer/synth, Lars Ove Fossheim på gitar og Hans Hulbækmo på trommer.

Prosjektet YHAO ble plukket ut som showcase-band på bransjefestivalen TEIP i Trondheim mars 2009, og ble av dette inspirert til å dra på en vellykket sørlands- og østlandsturné samme sommer. Etter lang tids nitidig arbeid med låtskriving og øving begynte YHAO å etablere seg som et spennende liveband og ble valgt ut til samleskiva og showcasefestivalen Trondheim Calling vinteren 2009/10.

Våren 2010 har bandet prøvd seg forsiktig fram live på Østlandet og på hjemmebane, noe som blant annet har endt opp i publikumsrekord på Brukbar i Trondheim, mange godord blant de som vet best på byen, plassering på NRK P3s Mari Garås Monsson sin topp 10-mixtape, blitt anbefalt på NRK Urørt utallige ganger (dvs. 3) og spilling på bransjetunge Norsk Rockforbunds landsmøte i april.

I april 2010 var bandet ute på en ny miniturné, før en intens sommer og høst med flere større sommerfestivaler og plateinnspilling står på programmet.

Elephantine formed as 2007 came to an end, and released a five track EP called “A Suite In D-Minor” as 2008 started. First performance was at Mid-Norwegian Championship of rock who got them to third place with their first song ever made. After that, the band got themselves a reputation as an explosive live act and a stoner rock / metal band for the future.

Elephantine plays Hard Rock with Blues, Metal, Prog, and whatever pops up as a good idea generally.
Simon Nylund on Vocals, Tarjei Fiske Fjalestad on bass, Ørjan Langnes (Jack Dalton) and Morten Telle on guitars and backing vocals and Gøran Gimsøy on drums.

Elephantine is currently in studio(s) working on their debut album witch should emerge around September 2010.
